No, Jan......he's not too busy. In fact, I'd be willing to wager that Obama is spending nearly 100% of his time prepping for these debates.

First step: learn how to be President.

Second, learn something....ANYTHING....about the Constitution.

Third: learn something......AGAIN, ANYTHING....about foreign policy.

Steps 4-10: learn how to speak without the aid of a Teleprompter.

What is happening right now, with respect to Obama and these debates is much like a student pulling an "all-nighter", studying for a test in a class he never showed-up to.....

The Chicago PUBLIC school teachers' union.....on strike....AGAINST RAHM!

Not satisfied with their current $75,000/year salaries (BEFORE any other benefit), they turned down Rahm's (frankly, stupid) proposal of a 16% pay raise! 16% ????? For WHAT??? And, for that matter: $75,000? FOR WHAT?!?!?

The kids in the Chicago public school system are some of the LEAST educated kids in America, with only 14% competent in reading by the fourth grade, and under HALF unable to make it through high school!

Strike? THEY SHOULD BE FIRED!

Now, what's Rahm proposing?

Oh...let's see.......

How about no more teacher's evaluations? Yup, that's on the table!
How about......AUTOMATIC PAY RAISES!?!?!? YUP.....THAT'S ON THE TABLE!!!

Had Reagan been in office right now, by way of response, he would have bombed Libya back to the stone age by now (which, really, is only about 5 years ago...).

If the Democratic Party were honest....TRULY honest....this would be their motto. This, or "WE'LL DECIDE WHO'S EQUAL".

By now, you may have heard that those poor, downtrodden public school teachers in Chicago have gone on strike...

In a city where the average household income is $47,000/year, Chicago's UNION schoolteachers make $76,000/year.....and that's BEFORE benefits, retirement, etc.....

The reason for the strike?

The Chicago Teacher's Union REJECTED AN OFFER OF A 16% PAY RAISE OVER THE NEXT FOUR YEARS!

EVEN IF those teachers were performing at a high level, producing students who are ready to tough it out in this world, I personally don't believe they'd be worth the pay raise, let alone what they currently make.

But they aren't.

Did you know, for instance, that only 15% of children in the fourth grade (in the Chicago teachers UNION schools) are proficient in reading?

Or how about the fact that IF those Chicago teachers UNION schools' children even make it to high school, only 56% graduate?

So, I'm sorry......WHAT ARE WE PAYING FOR?

If those teachers worked in the private sector.....you know, that place where results are expected....they'd have been FIRED long ago.

Instead, the Democratic Party protects them, defends them and overpays them.

...which, of course, can only mean ONE thing:

The Democratic Party proudly says, "FU** THE CHILDREN!"

(perhaps they are angry at NOT having had a chance to kill the child in the womb....)
