So, Idiot-in-chief, here's how YOU can hold true to your promise.....:

1. Cut me a personal check for $12,000.00 (this'll cover the new, extra taxes taken out of my paycheck)

2. Cut me a personal check for $4,000.00. This'll cover your increase in gas prices.

3. Since I utilize, on average, around $30,000.00/year in various goods and services, cut me a check for the increase in these: $9,000.00.

4. Cut me a check for $3,500.00. That covers the promise you made to me of what I'd be seeing MORE per year under your tax plan.

With President Obama and the entirety of the Democratic Party setting their collective sights squarely on the Second Amendment, now is a VERY good time to take a look at the objective of their push...

....if it's not clear enough already.

Is the Democrats' claim of "reducing gun-related violence" (a claim which is included is EVERY White House gun-related statement, EVERY Democrat's quote on gun-control and EVERY gun-related media report) a legitimate reason for their push to ban "assault weapons"?

Simplest answer: It CAN'T be.

Why?

According to the Department of Justice, two VERY interesting stats are, to me, glaringly obvious:

1. Handguns are the OVERWHELMING choice in gun related crimes. And, although trending down, are still used at a MUCH higher rate than any other type of gun.

2. "Assault weapons", along with ALL OTHER types of guns, are not only used at a FAR lower rate, but, even lumped together, come NOWHERE near the rate of handguns.

So, on one hand are handguns which are, BY FAR, the guns most used in crimes and, on the other hand, we have "assault weapons", which are simply lumped in with ALL other types of guns and, even as such, are FAR less likely to be used in crimes.

Yet, Democrats say they are only targeting "assault weapons".

WHY? Doesn't it make FAR more sense to go after handguns? Woudn't THAT go MUCH further in their claim of wanting to reduce gun crimes?

Folks, "assault weapons" is the very real "slippery slope": start with "assault weapons", then move on to other types of guns. Precedence? Of COURSE there is. Check out Sarah Brady's (Handgun Control, Inc) comment upon the passage of "The Brady Bill":

“The House passage of our bill is a victory for this country Common sense wins out. I'm just so thrilled and excited. The sale of guns must stop. Halfway measures are not enough.”

Brady also made another statement which provides a GREAT lead-in to the point of this piece:

Liberals, intent on disarming the citizenry, scoff at and mock anyone using the framers' argument, pro Second Amendment.

When Ben Shapiro was on the idiot Piers Morgan's show, a perfect demonstration of this was evident.

There was Ben, pointing out that the framers DID, in fact, write the Second Amendment so as to guarantee a means of defense (for the citizenry) against an out-of-control government.

And there was Morgan, mocking him for having SUCH a stupid notion.

Folks, there IS a wonderful example....right now, in this very time, in this very country....which PROVES that Shapiro and the framers were absolutely right.

Think about it:

In all of humanity, who is the most vulnerable and defenseless of ALL?

The unborn.

And The Democratic Party has butchered more than FIFTY THREE MILLION of them, and intends to clear the way to butcher A WHOLE LOT MORE!!

THIS is what Democrats WILL do to ANYONE unable to defend themselves.

And, yet.....they re-elected him....for four more years.

A nation of cowards

The intent of Liberalism has taken hold in the US.

From a nation that stood as the fierce protector of liberty and freedom worldwide, the sanctuary to which the oppressed, the hungry and the abandoned ran, is now, thanks to The Democratic Party, a nation of cowards.

The latest example of this is the news that The Boy Scouts of America is contemplating a change in their policy to include gays.  Include? I meant: "pander to".

And, WHY?

Is it because the BSA has suddenly decided to believe in the genetic basis of homosexuality?

Nope.

Is it because they, after extensive research, have decided that gays will not have a negative impact on the psychologies of the heterosexual kids?

Nope.

It's because of the almighty dollar.

Evidently, several sponsors have announced that they'll be pulling their support because of the BSA policy.

Money, folks. Not morals. Not integrity. MONEY.

A spineless, gutless, money-grubbing decision....which, by the way, WILL negatively impact the kids.

Speaking on the contraceptive coverage in Obamacare (her favorite topic, since she lead the charge from the Left which sought to force taxpayers to subsidize her sexcapades), said Fluke:

"What's important to note is that some of the folks who are continuing to object to this policy are actually worried about employers who are private companies, not religiously affiliated employers in any way, but the boss has a particular religious concern, and they want to be able to deny their employees particular types of healthcare. Now if you take a step back and think about that, that's--you know, you work at a restaurant, you work at a store, and your boss is able to deny you leukemia coverage, or contraception coverage, or blood transfusions, or any number of medical concerns that someone might have a religious objection to. So the folks who are still objecting have some very extreme ideas about religious freedom and employee healthcare in this country."

Well....THAT pretty much seals the deal....

One of Obama's own advisers said, of the Chuck Hagel nomination hearing, that it was "...somewhere between baffling and incomprehensible...".

Since, based on his administration so far, these seem to be the PERFECT qualifications, Hagel looks VERY good to close the deal!

....the ONLY thing that could make this MORE of a slam dunk would be if Hagel were convicted of a felony!

.....at THAT point, he'd be Presidential material for the Democratic Party.

Well, after the SURPRISING (to Liberals) news that EVERYONE'S....even the middle class...paychecks got HAMMERED with new taxes, out came the news that the economy is tanking.

Today, we hit the "hat trick" with the news the unemployment is ON THE RISE.

.....and we have four more years of this. And, likely, based on how ignorant voters seem to be these days, FAR more than just four years......

....after all, now that Hillary has, once again, stated flatly that she WILL NOT be running in 2016...

....she'll be running in 2016.

Oh....and guess what?

What is on the legislative table that will fix these VERY serious problems?

Following the attack in Benghazi (still trying to figure out whether Obama and Hillary have been made aware of that one...), we now have ANOTHER suicide attack....and act of war....against the US.

While I'm SURE that aboslutely EVERYTHING humanly possible is being done by the administration to cover up the details, I'm also quite sure that THIS is pretty much what the "brainstorming session", between Obama and Hillary, looks like:

COMPLETE disconnect.

Perhaps what's needed are a couple analogies (not that Liberals will suddenly 'get it')...

So, a Pew Institute poll comes out today, stating that 53% of Americans are convinced that the Government threatens freedoms.

53%.

And yet, Americans chose to re-elect the VERY party who is threatening those freedoms.

And why not? After all, this is the electorate that has voted in the party who created the horrific economy we're in, and who then promised to fix it.....TWICE.

So....some analogies....

This is like saying to yourself, "Hi honey. I just found out that the guy down the street is a registered sex offender. I think I found our new babysitter."

Or..."I just found out that I have SUCH a severe allergic reaction to peanut butter that, if I even smell it, I go into anaphylaxis. So, waiter, I'll have a peanut butter sandwich and some nice 'kung pao' beef for lunch."
