A lesson in how Democrats do it....

There's the old story about a prominent climatologist who attended an Al Gore "Global Warming" speech.

At the end, Gore approached him, asking, "Well, what did you think?"

The climatologist's response: very compelling.....as long as you don't understand the science".

And that's how they do it, folks.

That is how Democrats (Socialists) develop followers...acolytes...believers....worshippers.

That is how they gather "the party faithful".

Take, for instance, Hillary's speech to the United Methodist Women's Assembly:

In it, Hillary said that, to her, Christianity means "caring for others".

And, certainly, in part, it does.

HOWEVER, this ISN'T what SHE means.

To paraphrase that above-mentioned climatologist: Yes, Hillary, you are very compelling....as long as no one understands religion.

You see, folks, what Hillary is suggesting is this: people (Christians, certainly) should be willing and happy to pay profoundly high taxes, TO THE GOVERNMENT, in order to "care for others".

In truth, this ISN'T what Christ had in mind.

No, Christ wants us to give of ourselves PERSONALLY. DIRECTLY. Not only in terms of money, but time, talent, etc., as well.

See the subtle difference there?

Give to the Government, so that they can give to whomever they please (Democrats' way), or...

Give personally, directly to those in need (Conservatives' way).

What's the difference, you ask?

Simple: around 85%.

For each dollar you give through taxes, less than FIFTEEN CENTS goes to the actual needy. The rest is lost in Government overhead.

For each dollar you give of yourself, ONE DOLLAR goes to the actual needy.

Why does Hillary (and the rest of the Democrats) get away with such fabrications?

Simple, too: her (their) believers know this: NEVER question "god". NEVER.
