Abortion 2012

As the race for President heats up, the candidates are handling the abortion question like
typical politicians; opportunistically or avoidingly. I recently received an email from a gentleman named Pat Garcia, who's throwing his hat into the ring for a Congressional seat. I sent Mr. Garcia a note, since his web site did not mention his stand on abortion. I asked where he stood on Roe v Wade as well as his stance on abortion, in general. (In truth, these were trick questions, because I wanted to see whether he would take a TRULY Conservative stance......). Mr. Garcia provided a stock GOP answer: states' rights, bad SCOTUS decision, etc etc etc....pure vanilla.

Although his answer was consistent with the GOP, and CERTAINLY better than the position of his opposition (Loretta Sanchez, who is wildly, aggressively PRO-abortion), he failed to recognize the truth of abortion. In fact, BOTH parties now fail to recognize the truth of abortion; with a "it's a states' rights issue" on one side and a "it's a women's rights issue" on the other. The TRUTH of the abortion issue is this:

ABORTION IS A HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUE.

Republicans, when speaking on their stated positions about abortion, will often rest their
arguments on the fact that abortion is "not enumerated in the Constitution". And, in a sense,
they are correct: abortion ISN'T specifically mentioned in the language of the
Constitution. Liberals' position on abortion varies. Most consistently, it's a "women's
rights issue"; an "I can do with my body whatever I please" mentality.

But, consider:

- Slavery isn't enumerated in the Constitution, either.

- The stated right of women to vote isn't enumerated in the Constitution.

So…

In the time of Lincoln, should Americans have accepted, from their legislators, a "it's a
states' rights issue" when it came to the question of slavery? Should slaveholders have argued "private property rights" in their defense of slavery?

In the early years of the 20th Century, should Americans have accepted, from their legislators, a
"leave it to the individual states" attitude when it came to the right of women to vote? Should legislators argued "men's rights issue" in defense of continuing to disallow women's voting rights?

Thank God, in both these cases, righteous people argued that suffrage and the abolition of slavery
were well within the spirit of the Constitution's recognition and requirement of equality for all (as spelled out specifically in the Declaration of Independence). And because "equality for all" is THE most important concept in the Constitution, horrific injustices were righted.

It is a matter of historical significance that both these issue, along with myriad other attempts at legislated discrimination, were…and ARE…perpetuated by, protected by and expanded by The Democratic Party. Yes, slavery, women excluded from the vote on to today with embryonic stem cell research and federal funding as well as abortion are 100% the product of The Democratic Party.

The bottom line:

Until America recognizes that ALL people are created equal, then, truly, NO ONE is equal and our legislators will be left to determine WHO is equal and deserving of equality.

Isn't that something we should leave to God (as suggested by our framers…"certain unalienable
rights")?

We (and by "we", I mean both those who advocate abortion as well as those who refuse to take a stand against it) have decided that one class of humans (the unborn) is not worthy of equality and protection under our Constitution.

So, on January 22nd, the United States witnesses another anniversary of the 1973 Roe v Wade
decision. Another year, another 800,000 abortions in the United States alone. Since that horrific decision, nearly 53 MILLION unborn children have been butchered.

If it takes you, say, 5 minutes to read this post, realize that, in that period of time, 400
abortions took place worldwide. According to the World Health Organization, an abortion takes place somewhere in the world every 1.33 seconds. That makes 80 abortions every minute, 4,800
abortions every hour, 115,000 abortions every day and 42 MILLION abortions every year.
Shockingly, over 60% of women having abortions call themselves "Christian".

To provide some perspective, in the twelve years that "Uncle Joe" Stalin ruled the Soviet Union,
his administration was responsible for the murder of 23 million human beings. In 12 years, in today's standards, the world witnesses 504 MILLION abortions.

Some more perspective?

Each and every year, worldwide, the number of abortions surpasses the population (2010) of California!

In America, over 2200 abortions take place EVERY DAY. That is three abortions every two minutes. So, in the five minutes it takes for you to read this piece, 7 unborn children were
butchered in the United States; the country which claims to champion human rights. And all these abortions are supported by, defended by, expanded by.....The Democratic Party.

Two lessons learned:

1. Liberals, throughout history, have arbitrarily decided who is "deserving" of equality; once upon a time, it was slavery, then it was a woman's right to vote.....now, their target of discrimination is "the unborn". The Democratic Party's absolutely clear record of legislated discrimination...

2. What once was the downfall of the Whig Party is now the downfall of the Republican Party: the
unwillingness to take a stand against discrimination. The GOP is AS guilty as the DNC for the perpetuation of discrimination against the unborn.

So…

When will we, as a people, recognize abortion for what it is: a human rights issue?

When will we decide that the most vulnerable among us are worth fighting for?

And when will we come to realize that either EVERYONE is equal, or NO ONE is?

Hirota: out.

Post Script:

Liberals consider the Roe decision as key in the "fight for women's rights". So, why is it that, on January 22nd, the Roe anniversary will pass without HUGE media attention, without Liberals in
Congress making long, loud speeches praising the virtues of abortion, without "Roe retrospectives" on Liberal cable shows and news sites, without Washington parties, without bombastic speeches by Obama? Why will this "great day for Liberalism" come and go like any other day?

The reason is simple:

Liberals KNOW that abortion is a grotesque violation of human rights. But they protect it, defend
it and expand it anyway, because, as they learned from their mentors in the past (Hitler, Stalin, Mao, etc), legislating inequality among people is THE key to controlling them....

A lesson to voters in 2012

Two of Obama's largest voting blocks in 2008 were blacks and the youth

In just three years, these groups have taken a huge drubbing from the person THEY put in office.

Consider:

- By race, the highest unemployment in the US is within the black community. In addition, blacks have have disproportionately foreclosed-on in the collapse of the housing market.

- By age group, the highest rate of unemployment in the US is the youth;
specifically between the ages of 16 and 29. Unemployment for this group is a staggering 45%.

These groups, like so many others, never bothered to look into Obama, the man. The only watched TV, and just assumed that everything being said by the mainsteam media was gospel truth.

And, even when damning evidence DID come out about their lord and savior, they simply chose to ignore it.

Now, of course, they are paying the price.

Unfortunately, though, I don't see these groups learning anything soon.....

Although the "youth vote" is beginning to come around to rational thought, the "black vote" is still hopelessly, deliberately, ignorant, as polls show that support for Obama among blacks remains high.

In spite of the promises, irrespective of the truth, Obama has run this country into the ground. The rich are richer because of his policies, the poor are poorer (and there are more of them, too).

As the philosopher once said, "those who forget history are doomed to repeat it".

And, evidently, we've lost our ability to survive....

Descent into Hell

Whether or not you are the type of person who makes New Years resolutions, please take some time on New Years eve to make one.....this one:

Pray for the people of Iraq.

Because of Obama (and the entire Democratic Party), Iraq, even as withdrawal our troops, is descending into hell.

This week alone, some 50 or so Iraqis were butchered by terrorists. And the numbers....without question....will continue to rise.

Sunni Al Qaeda has begun the bloddy process of taking over the country and will begin by severely punishing its people. They plan to show, through any and all violent means necessary, that they are in charge.

We are about to witness the beginning of an ethnic cleansing, about which our President will do nothing (taking his cue from Bill Clinton, who ignored the butchering of nearly one million Tutsis at the hands of Muslim Hutus in Rwanda).

Aren't we the people who said, "NEVER AGAIN!"?

Well, it's happening again: what are we going to do about it?

Hirota: out.

Thank you, Mr. President!

Dear President Obama,
Because of you, I'm now part of the fabric that is "The Urban Dictionary"!
My friends and family, along with the rest of the world, will finally understand WHY you do the things you do.....

Folks,
The Urban Dictionary will now include my own definition (which pretty much applies to ALL Liberals...):

Premature iraqulation

Definition: The inability to remain at a task because of fear of failing, even though you are currently succeeding.

Example: The football team was 42 points up, with 2 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, when their head coach forfeited the game. The coach suffers from premature Iraqulation.

How is this possible??

It was reported today that a series of bombings has taken place in Baghdad; killing at least 69 people.

I thought our mission was completed in Iraq? I thought Obama was pulling troops OUT of Iraq?

I thought our presence was no longer needed in Iraq?

Shouldn't al Qaeda be happy, now that we are leaving?

I guess not...

How the Liberals have handled Iraq can best be described as being in a football game. Our team, through the first three quarters, leads by 100 touchdowns.

Then, the head coach of our team says: "WE CAN'T POSSIBLY WIN THIS......WE FORFEIT!"

I'm not sure whether Liberals are afraid of winning or if they are just so used to losing....

Either way, Iraq will now devolve; slide into chaos. Al Qaeda will take over, establishing a hostile terrorist state who's main enemy will be the United States.

And, by the way, with our withdrawal, Obama has rendered the sacrifice of our men and women who've paid the ultimate price for our freedom...meaningless (and thus has fulfilled the wishes, dreams and fantasies of all Liberals...)

Picture of the day

Since Obama is a gutless, spineless coward, when he says, "I've got a bone to pick...", this is what he means:

Clown rumble

Today, Hugo "Bozo" Chavez referred to our President, Barack "Bim Bom" Obama as "a clown".

Chavez' statement comes on the heals of a comment made by "Bim Bom" earlier this week:

"We’re concerned about the government’s actions, which have restricted the universal rights of the Venezuelan people, threatened basic democratic values, and failed to contribute to the security in the region. Moreover, it’s unfortunate that the Venezuelan government is often more interested in revisiting the ideological battles of the past than looking forward to the future that we could build for our citizens.”

Hmmmm.....let's see....what was it that that "Jesus" guy said? Something about taking the plank out of your own eye before you attempt to remove the sliver from another's?

So, in a million words (TelePrompTer'd, no doubt), Barack perfectly characterizes not only Chavez, but himself as well.

And, in one word, Chavez does the same.....

HONK HONK......BOINGGGGGG......FWEEEET.....

The battle of the clowns rages on....

The good news and the bad news....

The Good News?

Kim Jong Il...butcher, tyrant, psychopath, sociopath, Liberal....is dead.

The Bad News? Twofold:

His idiot son is the heir to power, and...

...with Obama in charge (of Hillary), they'll be strapping on the kneepads and vasoline-ing their lips....LET THE APPEASEMENT BEGIN!

(Hillary's husband, if you recall, is the idiot who gave North Korea it's nuclear weapons program)

What's left to hand over? What'll Hill-bama give them? A missile defense system, perhaps?

Psycho Nancy....

The only human beings more out-of-touch than Nancy Pelosi are her constituents.

By way of ABSOLUTE, undeniable, unquestionable truth:

Pelosi, today, stated, as a matter of fact, that extending unemployment benefits will create 600,000 jobs!

No...really....she actually said this!

So, let's see.....if we (the taxpayers) pay you NOT to work, with money that comes from.....we, the taxpayers (who will now be FURTHER burdened with crippling taxes), 600 THOUSAND jobs will be created?

Perhaps I'm just not "nuanced" enough....but I don't get it.

The ONLY way that Pelosi's ridiculous claim can POSSIBLY ring true is if, through this legislation, 600,000 highly-skilled and moderately-paid workers get fired (because of the increases in their employers' tax rates) and are replaced by unskilled, far-lower-paid workers...

...after all, Pelosi DIDN'T mention how many jobs would be LOST through this legislation...

Ya know, this is beginning to smack of the Khmer Rouge's tactic of ridding society of the skilled and educated........

Of course, the method was quite a bit different, but the goals are the same: absolute control.

Time Magazine's 'Person of the Year'

No real surprise here, folks. TIME Magazine's "Person of the Year" was awarded to 'The Protester'.

As in The Occupy movement, and various protests around the world.

So......I got to thinking........and then did some looking.....

"Person of the Year (formerly Man of the Year) is an annual issue of the United States news magazine that features and profiles a person, couple, group, idea, place, or machine that 'for better or for worse, ...has done the most to influence the events of the year.'"

Such is the criterion by which Time claims to qualify their selection.

Two words come to mind: "Bull" and "Sh**".

You might think that the "Person of the Year" for 2010 ought to have been a BLINDINGLY obvious choice, but alas...

...it was Mark Zuckerberg.

No doubt, Zuckerberg does fit the criterion.

But PLEASE don't tell me that he was MORE influential that year than "THE TEA PARTY MOVEMENT"!

This is the group that inspired the nation to achieve the greatest turnover in American politics in history.

Yet, EVEN though TIME would consider this feat to represent the "for worse" part of their criterion, found fit leave them behind.

No great surprise.....
