Remember this face....
Remember this face, folks. This is a picture of Hamza Ali al-Khateeb, one of the younger protesters in the Syrian people's quest for freedom and liberty.
More accurately, this is a picture of Hamza Ali al-Khateeb, BEFORE Syrian President Bashar al-Abbas' butchers kneecapped him, removed his genitals, then broke his neck and riddled his body with bullets.....for protesting against the government.
His parents, who ignored an order to remian silent, posted images of the brutality on the internet.
His father has since disappeared; his whereabouts unkown.
Obama, who has done absolutely nothing about Syria (except for, perhaps, kissing Assad's ass), remains steadfastly oblivious....
BTW, this brave young man was 13 years old....

Which one is the REAL Conservative?????
Reagan, move over!?
Not so fast...
Romney, a Conservative as he now claims? NOPE.
Pawlenty? NOPE.
Huntsman? NOPE.
Paul? NOPE.
Giuliani? NOPE.
Gingrich? NOPE.
Cain? UNDECIDED....
In fact, EVERY candidate, with the possible exception of Herman Cain, carries TONS of Liberal baggage. All but Cain have dumped their "principles" in favor of political expediency.
So......how is it possible to pick the REAL Conservative?
It's simple, really: Just keep your eyes and ears open. Listen to two groups, specifically: The Democratic Party and the GOP.
In fact, BOTH these groups have the same goal with respect to the next President: NEITHER wants a Conservative in office. That's right, the GOP DOES NOT WANT A CONSERVATIVE IN THE OVAL OFFICE!
Why? Because the GOP has become nothing more than a "fifth column" for the Democratic Party. They are the new "Whig" party, refusing to act on principle. (With the Whigs, it was slavery; with the GOP, it's abortion and embryonic stem cell research).
So, IF you do listen to these two groups, the next step is even more simple: pay attention to whom they attack most often and with the greatest vitriol. See who they demonize. Pay attention to the person they seek to demoralize and marginalize.
Only ONE name comes up:
SARAH PALIN.
Liberals FEAR her.
The GOP FEARS her.
SHE is the most qualified candidate and she is the most Conservative candidate. Period.
Only two questions remain:
- Will she run?
- Will YOU have the guts to ACTIVELY, LOUDLY, support her?

Memorial Day
Not a day passes without concern for men and women in the military; their bravery and sacrifice do not go unappreciated. And, for those who, throughout the history of these United States, paid the ultimate price for our freedom: my deepest respect.
With every rant, with every protest, I honor them. If not for their sacrifice, their dedication, their heroism, I'd have no voice.
And even today, battling a Government wholly anticipated by our Founding Fathers, I am assured that those same brave men and women stand ready to defend our nation from the enemies within...
Happy Memorial Day, everyone!
And to our folks in uniform (past and present): my love and deepest respect.

The Hirota Administration: Illegal Immigration
First: Entitlement reform. The "cookies" MUST be taken out of the "cookie jar".
Second: Streamline the immigration process. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason that the path to LEGAL immigration should take 3, 5, 10 years (as it does right now). In this age of high technology, the process (background checks, medical checks, etc) should take NO LONGER than 6-12 months.
Any politician who touts their "solution" to illegal immigration, yet does NOT include these two steps, is not serious about immigration reform. Period.

The Hirota Administration: Healthcare
Think about it: the healthcare bill (Obamacare) is WELL over 2200 pages of legalease, while the Constitution of the United States AND The Bill of Rights are a WHOPPING two pages.
There's a lesson here, folks....
Whether fixing healthcare, taxes, spending....WHATEVER, "fixes" can be boiled down to a two-step or three-step process.
I have no doubt that "Obamacare" will be declared unconstitutional. Why? Because it IS unconstitutional: our Federal Gocernment cannot require the purchase of healthcare (or anything else, for that matter).
When Obamacare is relegated to the ash heap of history, it'll be time for REAL, ACTUAL, SUBSTANTIVE healthcare reform.
Here's the two-step process:
1. Agressive tort law refrom. Greater than 80% of healthcare costs are due to "defensive medicine" (Doctors perfroming EVERY possible test on patients, thus merely reducing the chance that they will be sued). BETTER THAN EIGHTY PERCENT, FOLKS! Now, will tort reform eliminate that 80%? No. Malpractice still happens. But severely reducing that whopping number will inevitably severly reduce healthcare costs.
2. Portability. Opening interstate competition for private healthcare insurance will have a two-fold affect:
- Decrease in the price of insurance. (This is proven time and time again in EVERY other industry).
- Increase in the level of service. Again, when companies compete for business, service levels increase.
Folks, it's an odd irony: Democrats wanted Obamacare because they stated, emphatically, that they wanted to screw "big insurance". In fact, Obamacare will be a WINDFALL to the insurance companies. Imagine owning a business and suddenly, EVERYONE is REQUIRED to buy your product! And your medicines. AND your services....
If voters REALLY want to screw "big insurance", then they ought to attack their two most aggressively lobbied 'sacred cows'....the two things "big insurance" NEVER wants touched: PORTABILITY AND TORT LAW.
VOTERS, are you paying attention?
So stated Barry Rand, Cheif Executive of AARP (American Association of Retired Persons) when AARP officially endorsed the "Affordable Healthcare for America" Act (Obamacare).
So, it's kind of confusing to me that, just this week, it was announced that AARP became the most recent addition to the "waivers" program. Yes, you read that right: AARP has received a waiver and no longer will be required to participate in Obamacare.
In addition, a large number of waivers were recently granted to businesses, large and small, in Nancy Pelosi's Congressional district. Her district, one of the most Liberal in the nation, has many businesses which cater to the phenomenally wealthy, so, again, it confuses me that they should be receiving waivers on Obamacare....
In total, Obama has issued over 1700 waivers for his healthcare law which, in his own words, was supposed to be fair, affordable and absolutely necessary, especially for the poorest in our nation.
But, what is becoming obvious is:
- Obamacare ISN'T "affordable". If it were, no one would need the waivers.
- Obamacare isn't "necessary". If it were, again, no one would be granted waivers.
- Obama (and ALL the Liberals in government) don't care about the "poorest in our nation". If they did, NO company would be allowed to receive a waiver from Obamacare.
Folks, Obamacare is only about one thing: handing money to the rich. More specifically, it's about handing money to the rich WHO SUPPORT LIBERALS. ONLY.
And, Obama's, Pelosi's, Reid's, message to the poor, the elderly and the infirmed.....those in most need of help...is this:
F**K YOU!
(Now, shut up and go out and vote for us)

If I got to be Netanyahu......
So.....Obama and Netanyahu are scheduled to have a meeting next week, in order to discuss.
IF I got to be Netanyahu for that meeting, here's what I'd say....
"Mr. President, in the spirit of solidarity and friendship between our nations, I wholeheartedly agree to your proposal....contingent on ONE thing: if I am to return Israel to pre-1967 lines, then America MUST return the United States to pre-Mexican/American War lines."
Isn't that fair?

2012
As I announced months ago, I'm running for President in 2012. Since I won't be spending the money for the filing fee, nor filling out the "Statement of Candidacy" forms, my campaign will have to be of the "demand-of-the-people" variety (which has never been done before).
The primary objective of my campaign will be to take the money out of the political process. Money, it is said, is the root of all evil. I disagree. Money is only money. It is what people DO with that money that is the root of all evil. The reality is that the money currently involved in the system, while grotesque, is Constitutionally protected, so my administration will not seek to legislate the money out of the system; I'll leave that to the Statists (while they're busy grubbing for cash...). Rather, I will depend entirely on the will and activism of the American people who, if they are truly serious about their desire to remove money from the political campaign system, will take up the cause.
The agenda of the Hirota administration
OVERVIEW
The focus of the Hirota administration will be to restore America to its founding principles, reconnect the American people with their political process and recognize that:
- A citizenry of activists, educated on the issues, is the only guarantor of liberty and freedom.
- ALL people, regardless of race, creed, color or stage of life, are created equal and “…endowed by The Creator with certain unalienable rights…”.
- The reformation of Government to its role, as defined by The Constitution and as restricted by The Bill of Rights.
- The desire, by some, to convene a “second Continental Congress”, while well-intended, is unnecessary. The current Constitution and Bill of Rights remains valid, current and complete. The current level of abuse of our founding documents is not the result of the Constitution, Bill of Rights or the Declaration of Independence, but rather the abuse by those who interpret those documents for their own personal gain.
- While people are free to make any choice regarding their lives, those choices come with consequence, which must be assumed by the individual. The only case where there exists no freedom of choice is when that choice violates the unalienable rights of another.
General comments for a few of the more important agenda items follow. Details of each will come with future emails.
TAXATION
General Comments:
In order to begin the process of restoring America to its Constitutional principles and to restore the scope and role of Government to its Constitutionally-defined size and structure, thorough tax reform is mandatory. The Federal Government, since the administration of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, has abused its power and grown far beyond its mandated role and scope. And, in order to feed its huge appetite, Congress has devised a confusing, convoluted, discriminatory tax code which serves not only to legally rape the American people but also prevent any person from inquiry or understanding.
IMMIGRATION
General Comments:
Immigration reform is a matter of national security. Any policy proposed that only focuses on strengthening borders or providing for some type of amnesty will ultimately fail. Immigration reform must include stronger border security, streamlining of the immigration process and national entitlement reform.
NATIONAL DEFENSE
General Comments:
Whether defending our borders or protecting our national interests outside our borders or supporting our allies, America must have a strong military; well trained, well equipped and clearly tasked. Ambiguity and indecision have no place, with respect to America ’s national security. In addition, America ’s ability to gather and assess intelligence is as important an aspect of our National Security and will be funded accordingly.
ENTITLEMENTS
General Comments:
At the very least, entitlement reform, across the board, is mandatory. In a more general sense, the Federal Government has little or no business in entitlements, as they currently serve only as a means to control the people, insure Government corpulence and defund the whole of the citizenry.
CIVIL RIGHTS
General Comments:
All people are created equal. Any piece of legislation which specifically favors one group over another must be reformed.
ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT
General Comments:
The reliance on fossil fuels, alone, is not the answer to addressing the needs of the future. Nor is ANY other single means of energy production, “green” or otherwise. An appropriate energy policy must be balanced, relying of the myriad of technologies in order to satisfy the needs of the future.
GOVERNMENT REFORM
General Comments:
The fundamental mindset of elected office must change. Elected office exists at the behest of the citizenry, rather than in-spite-of. Elected office is not a “ruling class”, but rather a “service class”. The barely-believable and rampant corruption in our Government must end. Elected office has become the ultimate entitlement program, where, once elected, officials in elected office grow powerful and wealthy by “gaming” the system, relying on the apathy, complacency and ignorance of the citizenry.
SUMMARY
In summary, the goal of the Hirota administration will be to de-fund Federal Government and restore it to its Constitutional boundaries. Additionally, de-funding the Federal Government will return the citizenry to its rightful role, as the caretakers of our freedoms and liberties, growers of our economy and as “task masters” to elected officials. Our responsibility to our future generations is to take a permanently-active role in governing our great nation.
In future postings, I'll post more specifics about issues. While the rest of the politicians try to tell you that the world is mostly gray, with thin borders of "black and white", I'm here to tell you that the world is, in fact, nearly ALL "black and white", with a thin line of gray between. My stance on issues will be "black and white" and unambiguous...
Folks, unlike ANY recent presidential contender, I’ll let you know EXACTLY where I stand on issues and I will NOT claim to be something I am not.
AND, unlike any other candidate, I owe NOTHING to the special interests. The ONLY "special interest" that matters to me is "The American People".
I’m not in this in order to get wealthy or famous.
I’m in this because I love my country and I care about my family.

The birth certificate....
Why? Because I don't care; if people were stupid enough to vote for him in the first place, why would anyone care, now, about his legitimacy?
Anyway, the issue of the birth certificate DOES trigger a thought in me...
Suppose Roe v Wade had been the law of the land, back in....oh...say...1961?
Let's see....we have a white female, jumping from relationship to relationship, one of which ends up in a pregnancy. Mom's a Liberal hippy, dad'a a Liberal radical...
...ya know, it occurs to me that Obama could very well have ended up being just another example of a "woman's right to her body"....
Then, no birth certificate would be necessary, would it?!

Sound familiar????
Anyway, in a speech this week, Romney promised that, as President, he'd fix Obamacare.
WOW! That IS great news, yes?
Well, until you consider a couple minor things:
1. This is EXACTLY the same platform that Scott Brown (another Massachusetts Republican wannabe)campaigned on. (Brown, if you recall, campaigned on a single issue: a "no" vote on Obamacare). Well, Brown, once elected, fulfilled his campaign promise; he voted "no" on Obamacare. That single vote remains the ONLY "Republican" thing he's done in office. EVERYTHING he has done, SINCE that vote, has proven him to be a hard-line Liberal. MAKE NO MISTAKE: ROMNEY IS A LIBERAL.
2. Romney, as President, is going to fix Obamacare??? Has it ocurred to anyone that, as Governor, he's been completely unable (unwilling?) to fix the healthcare disaster in his own state (a disaster which, by the way, was created by him)? (Business management 101 hint: if a person cannot successfully solve small problems, then that person will also be unable ot handle large problems)
Folks, PLEASE don't make the same mistake. PLEASE don't elect another Obama or Brown. PLEASE think about the future of this country; the future of your children.
ROMNEY IS A LIBERAL. And, if elected, he'll pickup where Obama left off and continue to destroy this country.

Quote of the day....
So chanted California teachers, protesting at the Capitol today. Evidently, they aren't happy with proposed "cuts" ("cuts" must be read as "we already make more than you, AND our benefits are better than yours, AND our pentions are better than yours, AND we can't be fired like you, so you need to pay us more") to the state budget.
Californians: you are on notice. Jerry Brown WILL be raising your taxes.
Why? Because Brown is OWNED by the unions (remember: he's the idiot who allowed collective bargaining in California is the first place. So you REALLY think he's going to go against the largest, most wealthy union in America???).
So, California, YOU voted for him, now you'll reap what you have sown. And, because YOU were too complacent to figure out that our idiot Governor would IMMEDIATELY sell you out to the unions who own him, you are about to be SOAKED.
Meanwhile, our children aren't getting a decent education because their teachers are busy screwing you out of your money....

Explain to me, again, how Liberals are "patriots" who "love America"...?
- Liberals ARE patriots (even though they hate everything for which America stands).
- Liberals LOVE America (even though their policies violate the Constitution).
- Liberals LOVE the military (even though they save their most hostile vitriol for our men and women in uniform).
So, it really came as no surprise that, as Obama was moments from airing his speech from "Ground Zero", HE ORDERED THE REMOVAL OF THE AMERICAN FLAG.
Yes, you read that right: OBAMA ORDERED THE REMOVAL OF THE AMERICAN FLAG FROM GROUND ZERO.
Put into perspective:
Barack Obama has ordered the removal of the very symbol of American strength, freedom and liberty from the site of the symbol of Islamic-fascism's greatest victory.
Just whose side is our President on?
Isn't it obvious?

THE STEM CELL DEBATE: WHAT IS THE ISSUE?
What, exactly, IS the debate regarding “stem cell research”? The debate can be viewed from two different perspectives: funding and source.
THE FUNDING…
There are two primary ways to fund stem cell research: privately and publicly.
1. Privately means through private donations, venture capital, etc.
2. Publicly means through government funding.
One camp (Conservatives) believes that government-funded anything is wasteful spending (as the efficiency of money through the government is less than 10%). Additionally, conservatives believe that it is not the Constitutional function of government to fund things like stem cell research.
The other camp (Liberals) believes that Government should fund stem cell research. Liberals believe that the Government should fund everything, regardless of efficiency of tax dollars, cost or waste.
The reality is that, dollar-for-dollar, funding through private sources is FAR more efficient than funding through the government.
So, when Michael J. Fox tries to make Jim Talent look like a bad guy by saying that he does not believe in the funding of stem cell research, what he REALLY means is that Jim Talent does not believe in GOVERNMENT funding of stem cell research. Jim Talent would rather have 80% of each dollar spent actually go towards research, as opposed to less than 10% of a Government-funded dollar.
Jim Talent, like most other Conservatives, wholeheartedly believes in the PRIVATE funding of certain types of stem cell research….which leads to the other part of the debate…
THE SOURCE (of stem cells)
There are several sources of stem cells. Stem cells can be harvested from a fetus, from umbilical cords, from adults, from placentas as well as a host of other sources. But, actually, this part of the debate can be narrowed to just two categories: “fetal (embryonic) stem cells” and “all other sources”. The reason for the debate is twofold as well: prospects for cures and destruction of tissue source.
Fetal (embryonic) stem cells
Prospects for cures
Thus far, stem cells derived from aborted babies have resulted in precisely zero cures. ZERO. In fact, at this time, research utilizing stem cells from aborted babies hasn’t even shown any promise or hope of curing anything.
Destruction of tissue source
Fetal stem cell research requires the destruction of the source of the tissue. In other words: in order to obtain fetal stems cells, the fetus (also known as a baby) must be destroyed (also known as aborted).
All other sources
Prospects for cures
Research utilizing stem cells harvested from “other sources” is ALREADY showing tremendous promise in many areas. A few of those include:
- Remission of Lupus
- Remission of Crohn’s disease
- Remission of Parkinson’s disease
- Muscle tissue repair (in the case of congestive heart failure)
- Restoration of bone marrow in cancer patients
- Remission of Leukemia
- Treatment of urinary incontinence
- Treatment of Sickle Cell Anemia
- ……a host of others….
Destruction of tissue source
All other sources of stem cells (adult, umbilical cord, placenta) do not require the destruction of source tissue. In other words, no one is aborted in order to harvest “other source” stem cells.
CUTTING THROUGH THE CRAP
There are three REAL arguments regarding stem cell research:
1. Private funding is ALREADY taking place with regards to stem cell research, utilizing “all other source” material. Why?
a. It shows HUGE promise
b. It has ALREADY resulted in specific cures in humans
c. It does NOT require the abortion of an unborn baby
2. Liberals, when they ask for support (increased taxes) of “stem cell research” are actually asking for GOVERNMENT FUNDING OF FETAL (EMBYONIC) STEM CELL RESEARCH. You see, very few private sources exist for the funding of Fetal Stem Cell research. Why?
a. It show little or NO promise
b. Harvesting of cells requires the destruction of the source tissue (an aborted baby)
The facts regarding this debate really are not very difficult to ascertain. Nor are they difficult to interpret. The BIG question, then, becomes “WHY DO LIBERALS SUPPORT GOVERNMENT FUNDING OF FETAL STEM CELL RESEARCH?” Why would they throw our tax dollars away on an area of research that has yielded zero results, zero hope for any result and requires the termination of a life in order to experiment? This leads to my third, and final, argument:
3. Liberals support “stem cell research” (as defined in point #2) for these reasons:
a. It makes for bigger Government.
b. It makes Liberals appear sympathetic to those with debilitating diseases such as Parkinson’s
c. IT ACTIVELY SUPPORTS ABORTIONS-ON-DEMAND. In fact, it creates a market for aborted babies.
TO SUMMARIZE
In truth, the key to understanding the debate over stem cell research can be summarized thusly:
1. Conservatives (Republicans) believe in private funding of NON-fetal stem cell research. Why? Because this method is already yielding myriad results and does not require abortion of a baby as a means of harvest.
2. Liberals (Democrats) believe in Government funding of fetal stem cell research because they wish to shore up support for abortion-on-demand.

One last note....
Bin Laden is dead....
- The very face of al Qaeda, the fact that bin Laden had, until now, successfully defied all efforts to capture or kill him, served as great incentive for terrorists to continue their mission to destroy the West. His death, especially at the hands of the US, MUST be viewed as damaging and demeaning to terrorist organizations worldwide.
- With bin Laden's death, should we celebrate? No. Rather, we should be preparing for unprecedented retaliation. The US "terror alert" system SHOULD be upgraded to it's highest levels for the foreseeable future. This war is FAR from over. Bin Laden's death, in this sense, means nothing, other than new, possibly more hostile, leadership. We MUST act accordingly.
- One last note for now: Obama, who is ALREADY claiming responsibility for bin Laden's death, will certainly see an uptick in his favorable ratings. Liberal groups will revere him as a "hawk" and a great leader. But, in truth, as detached and inept as he's been in domestic affairs, Obama's ineptitude doesn't hold a candle to his astonishing bumbling and gutlessness shown in his foreign policy. Obama has as much to do with bin Laden's death as he has to do with the sun coming up every morning...
