General Carter Ham stated that Gaddafi was not part of the US mission in Libya.
Presumably, as in 1991, the UN would not approve coalition action against Libya if Gaddafi was to be included in the list of "stuff to do".
Well, now we can be assured, because of Liberals in the US AND the UN, that history will repeat itself....
In 1991, the coalition was forbidden from including Saddam as an "objective" to the war in Iraq.
Because of this gutless decision by the UN, President Bush (one) was forever berated by Liberals (who didn't read the UN resolution, evidently) for not taking care of Hussein (Saddam, not Barack).
And, as a result, Kurds were butchered, WMDs were massed, and the second Gulf War was necessitated.
Anyone feel like predicting the future, with respect to Libya?
